The video messaging leader Skype has launched a new mobile messenger called Skype Qik.

Skype Qik (pronounced “quick”) is a free app that lets you send 40 sec video messages. In a group chat, for example, your friends can reply with short video messages. Who needs calling or texting! You can even pre-record 5 sec "Qik Flicks" to readily send in case you’re too busy (or lazy) to record a live reply. What else? You can delete a video and it will also be removed from your recipient's device.

Download Skype Qik, input your mobile number to sign up and you're good to go. You can now send videos! 

Skype Qik is available on iPhone, Android, and Windows phones.

X-MEN: Days of Future Past

What would you correct from your past to save the future?

I would've saved the tadpoles! Then I'd have saved some more frogs...

This is what happens when you have frogs getting busy in the backyard. #summer 

WHY?

As we all know, tadpoles become frogs. And frogs play an important role in the environment as predators of pests like mosquitoes. No frogs = rise in malaria and dengue cases in the future. 

But nearly one-third of the world’s amphibian species, including frogs, face extinction. Up to 200 species have completely disappeared since 1980. And this is NOT normal. I've learned that amphibians naturally go extinct at a rate of only about one species every 500 years!!! And I contributed to this mass extinction. I unintentionally killed some tadpoles from our backyard pond when I was younger by simply playing w/ them - either fishing them out of the water and leaving them to dry out in the sun or putting them into clear plastic bags, shaking them really hard to see if they ever get dizzy. Now I feel like a horrible person.

Unless we act quickly, frog populations will continue to decline resulting in irreversible consequences to the planet’s ecosystems and to us humans.

Frogs ain't bad, it's the mosquitoes you gotta worry about. If we save the tadpoles, we save ourselves.

Time to save the tadpoles!

If you were a character in the Hunger Games, how would you use Fibr to help you train to win the pageant?

Troubled victor Haymitch Abernathy is my favorite character in the Hunger Games. If I were Haymitch, besides being a middle-aged drunk, I can be a better mentor using Fibr.

Being Haymitch, I'd constantly struggle coming out of my alcoholic stupor long enough to even coach Katniss and Peeta to victory. It's a very depressing job coaching tributes and usually just watching them die, but Fibr will greatly increase my chances of keeping Katniss and Peeta alive.

OneRepublic is back!

Glad to be Globe

While a lot of the people I follow on twitter rant about their #neverending problems with #Globe and how frustrated they were and how they wanna switch to Smart... I am just #GladToBeGlobe. 

One day, my twitter timeline was filled with tweets badmouthing #Globe.

Hate RTs about Globe, to my dismay, by one of my fave travel bloggers.

Strange how they complain about their coverage, and I don't.

I wasn't all for doom and gloom thoughts about my mobile network provider, so what I did was...

Unfollowed...because he hated Globe and I didn't.

I'm happy with my mobile network provider. #Globe hasn't given me a reason to feel otherwise. And I hope they wouldn't.
